Crimson Electric is an electrical apparatus service center in the Carolinas. The company specializes in the repair and testing of AC / DC motors and drives, servo motors, pumps and gear reducers.
Crimson’s facility includes state-of-the-art equipment for the comprehensive repair, engineering and testing of equipment.
Description : We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Duncan, SC to work on pumps and other rotating equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities : - Tear down rotating equipment, utilizing manufacturer’s recommendations and industry best practices
- Inspect equipment and parts for wear and damage
- Diagnose possible reason(s) for failure
- Provide information on parts and additional work required
- Provide recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment
- Complete information in reports as required
- Paint and prepare equipment for shipment
- Clean and organize shop as required
Requirements : - High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
You should be proficient in :
- Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
